Experience the flavors of Zagorje

All our dishes are made of fresh, seasonal and homemade products from the region of Zagorje.

The pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant is the perfect place for a magnificent gastronomical experience. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional style and our open fireplace and the thatched roof terrace provide a feeling of a warm and cozy atmosphere. Forgotten old recipes of ‘grandma’s kitchen’ have been resurrected in our kitchen and on the tables in our restaurant.

Our skilful and experienced chefs make magnificent dishes using high-quality home-made products and food from the area in close proximity. We aim to satisfy even the most complex of demands with diligence, professionalism, knowledge and spontaneous and hospitable approach of our staff.

On the inside of the restaurant we can accommodate about 80 people in our two dining areas and a further 40 people on the terrace. We recommend the smaller dining area for more intimate and private gatherings while the larger dining area is more suitable for celebrations, banquets and various events.

Next to the restaurant there is a pergola with a summer terrace called ”Pri baki Rozi” which can accommodate about 70 people and it is ideal for gatherings from spring to autumn.

In 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 we also received the Michelin BiB Gourmand and Gault Millau awards for the excellence of our gastronomic offer.

Pergola "Pri baki Rozi"

A pergola with a BBQ, bread oven and summer terrace positioned right along the vineyard. It is an ideal place for all those who love to socialize outdoors.

Specialties prepared in Grandma Roza's bread oven include cottage cheese strudel, veal, lamb, duck, and turkey with mlinci and various types of homemade bread – dishes you should not miss.

The pergola can accommodate about 70 people and it is ideal for group gatherings and parties from spring to autumn.

The ''Piknik bar'' is a part of the restaurant and it is a nice place for friendly chit-chat or for ''one for the road''.

It is important to offer excellent and high-quality beverages with our excellent dishes. One should start with our sparkling wines, which we recommend as aperitif. There is a wide array of wines in our wine cellar to pair with our dishes and there are also our home made spirits: Plum brandy (šljivovica), herbal brandy (travarica), grape brandy (lozovača), walnut liqueur (orahovac), honey liquer (medica), bluberry brandy (borovnica).
